Located 10 km from Veynes, at the foot of the mountain of Aujour, Le Saix is a small village built at the exit of the gorges of Maraize, tributary of Buëch, about 400 years ago, under the ruins of an old castle from the 12th century. Composed of stone houses closely together, the 105 inhabitants like to live close to each other.
