The name "Sivas" can already be seen on old maps of the region. The estate has probably been used by farmers for centuries. Les Balayres is the heart of the Domaine and is built in the Provencal style. Les Balayres housed the farming family and their livestock in the stables. Now it's a beautiful country house for 8 people.

Les Balayres can be rented in winter, as the kitchen and bedrooms have central heating. The living room is heated by a fireplace and gas stoves.

Composition of the gite :

- Living room:
On the same level as the kitchen, the living room offers a very large meeting and recreation area (81 m²). The living room is an ideal place to meet, chat or read a book to the children. It offers a lovely play area; rain or shine, it's a pleasant refuge.
The living room is equipped with an 80cm flat-screen HDTV with satellite reception.


- Kitchen:
The kitchen is the heart of the farmhouse. The large kitchen (26 m²), with its large dining table, is also the main meeting place. Everything is available to create good meals: a five-point stove with a large oven, a large two-door fridge, all the utensils needed for cooking, a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave and two work surfaces with sinks.


- Bedrooms:
Les Balayres has 5 bedrooms. All rooms have the charming atmosphere of a farmhouse in Provence. Almost all rooms have a washbasin with cold water.

- The Green Room - Opposite the kitchen is an 11 m² room with a double bed (140 x 200). This room is on the second floor and is accessed by the staircase that also leads to the kitchen. The window in this room faces east and has a view of the Montagne d'Aujour. The room has a washbasin with cold water.

- The Red Room - This room (10 m²) has a single bed (90 x 200) and is located below the Green Room. From the window you can look out over the southern paddock. The room has a washbasin with cold water. It is on the first floor.

- The Parent's Room - This room (12m²) is on the first floor and is accessed via a shared hall. The room has two single beds. The window looks out onto the southern terrace. This room can use a washbasin in a separate part of the hall.

- Children's bedroom - This room (12 m²) is on the first floor and is accessed from the master bedroom. The window overlooks the southern paddock. This room has a sink with cold water, a wardrobe and a single bed (90x200). A cot is available on request.

- The Colorful Room - Finally there's a room (13 m²) with two single beds (90 x 200). This room is also on the first floor and is accessed from the communal hall. It has a washbasin with cold water and a wardrobe. The window overlooks a hill with plum trees.


- Bathroom:
In Les Balayres there is a large modern bathroom with two showers, two toilets and a washbasin.
Here you'll find the washing machine and a cupboard for cleaning equipment and products.


- Outside
Around Les Balayres there's plenty of private space with intimate corners and shady tables. In spring, you can rest comfortably under the plum blossoms. In summer it's a delightful place to dine al fresco with a magnificent view.

Next to the building is a garden surrounded by stone walls, with picnic table, bench, barbecue and swings. The old vines against the rough stones of Les Balayres create a romantic midday atmosphere. It's the ideal place for sunbathing or playing.

The large doors of the living room open onto a spacious, green terrace behind Les Balayres. This terrace is surrounded by lavender. Benches under the linden trees provide an ideal place to sip your coffee in the evening sun.

The Domaine de Sivas covers around 70 hectares and is a great place for hiking. There's plenty to discover: forest paths, animal tracks (rabbits, foxes, red deer, badgers, wild boar), surprising views, forest birds, wild orchids and you might even meet the shepherd with his flock.



The Domaine de Sivas is located in the Parc Naturel Régional des Baronnies Provençales.
